Product Questions & Answers

What kind of hydraulic setups does this valve work with?
Question by: Patty R on May 6, 2025, 4:45 PM
It supports both three- and four-way directional control, making it pretty flexible for different system designs.

got a hydraulic setup that needs a directional valve, what does this DG4V 3S 33C M U C5 actually do
Question by: Todd D on Apr 19, 2025, 5:45 PM
In plain terms, it’s a single-stage directional control valve that routes hydraulic flow so you can shift an actuator or circuit one way or the other. It supports either three-way or four-way directional control, so it fits a lot of common industrial circuit layouts.

flow rate on this thing is listed at 80 litres per minute -- is that enough to run a press circuit without starving the actuator?
Question by: Harvey C on Feb 12, 2026, 7:15 AM
For most press applications, 80 litres per minute gives you solid working headroom. The DG4V-3 series is specifically called out for press use, so it's been put through its paces in that kind of duty. Whether that ceiling fits your exact actuator demand comes down to your system's flow requirements, but 80 LPM is a respectable rating for a single-stage directional valve in that class.
