Product Questions & Answers

got a press that’s set up for a DG4V 3 series valve, is this one a three-way or four-way deal
Question by: Rusty G on Mar 1, 2026, 3:46 PM
Functionally, it’s a three or four way directional control valve, and it’s meant to mount on industry standard surfaces.

Reckon this valve could handle the kind of duty cycle you see in a metal processing plant?
Question by: Danny W on Jan 22, 2026, 9:45 AM
Designed for demanding applications, this directional control valve is well-suited for primary metal processing as well as die casting, foundry work, and paper production, among others.

Got a press line running some pretty heavy cycles, does this valve hold up in that kind of environment, or is it more of a light-duty piece?
Question by: Dwayne H on Aug 12, 2025, 5:47 PM
Heavy industrial press applications are actually one of the core use cases this valve was built around. Along with that, it's rated for die casting, foundry work, primary metal processing, and similar high-demand environments, so it's not a light-duty component by any stretch. The 80 liter per minute flow rate and 30 watt coil are sized for real production work, not just occasional use.
