flow rate on this valve is 60 LPM -- that enough for most machine tool setups or is it gonna be cutting it close on heavier equipment?

For the majority of machine tool applications, 60 liters per minute is right in the working range. Heavy-duty continuous cycles with high-demand actuators might push that limit, but for standard industrial machine tool use this sits comfortably where most setups need it. If your system is running well under that threshold you've got plenty of headroom.
