Product Questions & Answers

got a slow moving setup on an aerial lift, is this valve actually meant for low-speed work
Question by: Earl G on Aug 29, 2025, 8:15 AM
Built around a low-speed gerotor style, it is aimed at applications where you need solid torque without having to run the system fast. The XLH series is called out for aerial work platforms and is rated for higher torque at low speeds, with a 318 newton metre torque rating.

torque on this thing rated at 318 newton metres -- is that enough grunt for aerial lift platforms running slow cycles all day?
Question by: Ralph K on Oct 17, 2025, 6:37 PM
For low-speed aerial work platform use, 318 newton metres of torque is right in the wheelhouse for this motor. The XLH series is built around exactly that kind of application, so the torque rating lines up with the demands of slow, controlled lifts rather than high-speed rotation. The gerotor design specifically pulls more torque out at low speeds, which is where aerial platforms spend most of their working time anyway.
