Product Questions & Answers

Will this motor hold up if it's run pretty much non-stop?
Question by: Rick H on Jul 8, 2025, 8:11 AM
Cast iron construction should provide good durability, even in continuous-duty industrial use.

Running an aerial work platform and need something that'll hold up under constant low-speed load. What kind of torque output are we talking with this motor?
Question by: Floyd M on Nov 12, 2025, 4:16 PM
At 242 Nm, there's enough torque here to handle the kind of sustained low-speed, high-load work that aerial platforms put on a motor. The gerotor design and spool valve configuration are specifically built to keep torque output consistent when speeds drop, which is where a lot of motors start to struggle. Cast iron construction helps it hold up in continuous-duty industrial conditions rather than fading after a few hours of hard use.

got a slow turnin drive that needs more grunt, is this XLH one of those low speed motors that’ll keep pullin?
Question by: Brent C on Sep 14, 2025, 7:58 PM
Built for low-speed, high-torque work, it is rated at 242 newton metre and uses a spool valve setup that helps keep torque dependable when you are running slow.
