Product Questions & Answers

Running a grain auger setup and need something that'll hold up under load at low rpm without bogging out. This motor rated for that kind of work?
Question by: Neil W on Apr 22, 2025, 7:25 PM
Auger duty is actually one of the core applications this motor was built around. At 130 Newton metres of torque and a flow rate of 57 litres per minute, it puts out real pulling power at low speeds without needing to spin fast to get there. The spool gerotor design with the same-speed disc valve is what keeps the torque delivery smooth and consistent even when the load gets heavy. Cast iron housing means it's not going to give up on you in a dirty, rough working environment either.

Will this motor hold up okay on a grain auger, running it pretty steady during harvest?
Question by: Hugh Y on May 15, 2025, 8:13 PM
Constructed from cast iron, this motor is durable enough for agricultural uses like augers, where consistent performance under load is needed.

got an auger that needs some real grunt down low. is this motor meant for low speed high torque work?
Question by: Kent H on Nov 28, 2025, 7:58 AM
Built for demanding low-speed, high-torque jobs, this Xcel XLH spool gerotor motor is rated at 130 newton metres and is meant to keep pulling when you are running slower speeds under load.
