Does this bulkhead modulator come with any kind of thread sealant or do I need to source that separate?

No sealant is included or required with this unit. The design doesn't call for it, so you can go straight to installation without having to track down any additional sealing materials beforehand.

Purely mechanical setup here. It is made without electrical parts like diodes or switch connectors, so there is no wiring or electrical interface built into it.
